Pubs In Wicklow
Wicklow (Bed and Breakfasts, Wicklow, Ireland) is known as the ‘Garden of Ireland’. A largely uninhabited county, it is bordered by a coastline and has someof the finest scenery in Ireland. Wicklow is well-worth going to and has a wonderful collection of towns, villages, hills, lakes and quaint village pubs. Pubs here really know how to take care of their guests with lots
of friendly service and heaps of fine food. With many places of historic importance, natural beauty and one of the highest waterfalls in Ireland, it would take a good day to settle down and take in all these rewarding sights.
Fitzgerald’s is located in the small town of Avoc. Its restaurant is small and cottagey inside; has a long main bar with plain wooden tables and chairs, along with some interesting photographs of the area at the turn of the century. Here you can enjoy the best home-cooked meals and friendly service. Usually buzzing with a lively crowd, this is a good old-fashioned country pub and highly recommended.
Tuttys is a popular family run pub and is a great place to go for the atmosphere. This highly successful pub is noted for its character, great warmth and old-world charm for five generations. Informal Traditional sessions can start at any time. Murphys Bar & Lounge is set in this old market town only an hour by car from Dublin. This warm pub has been serving customers since 1800s. The bars serve an excellent pint and although the lounge is brightly decorated it still retains its traditional character with plenty of comfortable seating, an open Victorian fireplace, low ceilings
and a well stocked bar giving the place an overall atmosphere of country comfort and charm. The restaurant offers a great range of food ranging from the traditional to the spicy and also serves an impressive range of pizzas. The pub plays host to visiting and local musicians and can get pretty lively on a Thursday night.
Come and experience all of it, at County Wicklow (Self Catering, Wicklow, Ireland) for some great food and drink or a bit of live traditional music.
